What Is The Network?

DCN has established a network of technology providers, service providers and experts with the intention of being able to address all of the requirements of a third party developer of lateral flow, microfluidic or other novel point of care device.

Who Can Join?

There are two levels of Affiliates to the network:

Level 1 Affiliates:

These are technology providers. Companies that own technologies that DCN has evaluated and found appropriate to application in the next generation of point of care device development or that provide solutions to real needs in the industry. The types of company included in Level 1 include

Level 2 Affiliates

These are service providers. Companies and individuals with skills that are required within the industry to fulfill certain specialist needs. As POC assay development projects become more complex, oftentimes companies do not have the broad range of skills in-house that are necessary to address all aspects of a project. Our consultants and service providers can fulfill all of the requirements of the POC developer.

Why Join?

For Level 1 Affiliates:

DCN acts as a technology broker, technology evaluation service, development partner and sales agent.

DCN will promote the technology through its broad access to market and assist the Affiliates in the generation of licenses for their technology.

DCN can thereafter assist in the development of products for third party customers, or for the Affiliates themselves. DCN will also provide networking services, linking the Affiliates to each other, assisting in the creation and management of projects and the interlinking of skills and products from other members of the group.

As a Level 1 Affiliate or technology provider, our goal is to promote your platform, generate development jobs and licenses for your technology. Our remuneration for this comes in the form of a percentage of business generated, including licenses produced.

For Level 2 Affiliates:

DCN markets the network members, their services, technologies and their capabilities to outside companies requiring the technology or expertise.

DCN then networks members with clients and also with other members, putting various technologies together in appropriate ways to fulfill the needs of the project.

DCN generates leads for the Level 2 Affiliates, providing them with broad access to market through its promotional services.

As a Level 2 Affiliate or service provider, our goal is to generate business for your development capabilities in other areas. Our remuneration for this comes in the form of a percentage of business generated.

Is There A Fee To Join?

No. This is a risk-free promotional activity and networking service. If DCN does not generate any leads for your service or licenses for your technology, there is no cost to you.

How Do I Find Out More About the Benefits of the Network?

A detailed membership agreement containing all of the terms of membership and membership benefits will be forwarded to interested parties on request.
