Data capture and quantification are becoming more and more critical to high performance point of need assay systems. DCN works with a variety of reader suppliers to provide reader solutions for your assay. Recent developments have led to the availability of off-the-shelf and semi-customized readers for every application, and DCN works to provide our clients with validated readers in all required categories. We categorize reader systems for point of care applications as listed below, and use considerations such as those listed to guide our clients to the right solution.
DCN provides readers in all of the categories described above. We are the sole distributor of Embedded System Engineering’s line of fluorescent and visual handheld and benchtop readers for lateral flow assays in the USA, and we work with clients worldwide to integrate these readers into their assay systems. We also utilize Magna Biosciences’ paramagnetic particle assay reader for PMP based assays, as well as Alverix’s limited use visual and fluorescent assay readers for appropriate applications in lateral flow systems, and Proteome Systems’ DiagnostIQ™ reader for use in appropriate flow through applications.
